Dallas to host nine FIFA World Cup 2026 matches

Iconic Dallas Stadium will stage a total of nine matches from the biggest-ever World Cup, including one semi-final.

Dallas Stadium will host nine matches from the FIFA World Cup 2026™, including four knockout games in the latter stages of the tournament.

The full match schedule for the biggest-ever FIFA World Cup has now been unveiled, giving the framework for the 104-game tournament featuring 48 teams across 16 host cities in three countries – Canada, Mexico and the United States.

And the iconic Dallas venue will play host to five group-stage games, two Round of 32 fixtures, one Round of 16 tie and the first semi-final on Tuesday, 14 July 2026.

Dallas Stadium is a jaw-dropping example of stadium architecture, providing a ‘once-in-a-lifetime' visitor experience for both sport and music events, while boasting several pieces of incredible artwork and 25,000 square feet of video displays inside.

Of special significance in the history of Dallas and North Texas is the 1994 FIFA World Cup USA™, when six games were played at the Cotton Bowl. FIFA also placed its tournament headquarters and the IBC in Dallas.
